DESIGN CODES

The Neighbourhood Plan Review group has now approved Design Codes for the Town. These can be accessed here. Design codes are a set of clear, illustrated rules that guide the look and feel of new development. They translate the community's vision in the Neighbourhood Plan into practical design requirements- covering things like building materials, layouts, green spaces, streets, and how new homes should fit with local character. They help ensure that future development is high-quality, consistent and reflects what local people value.
